Notation as Product and Process – Nijinsky explorations

This October I had the opportunity to work with reconstructors Millicent Hodson & Kenneth Archer, Catherine Turocy, director, New York Baroque Dance Company and Claudia Jeschke, a German dance writer on Nijinsky and Doug Fullington of Pacific Northwest Ballet, (both Stepanoff Notation experts). We spent the day examining 2 pages of notation by Nijinsky and embodying his Abandoned Sarabande. An Exciting Year to Come – 2018!

From working on faculty with Limón4Kids and as an adjunct professor and collaborator in higher education, to finishing the year with solo performances for the 92nd St. Y Fridays at Noon, I can’t wait to dig deeper and continue to explore both as a performing artist and arts educator! I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my mentors, teachers and colleagues in the field who help make this journey possible! Here’s to many more!
